Brothers and Sisters,

Here we are! The first day of a brand new year. Breathe it in…you made it! Through each day of last year, our God and Father sustained us. We don’t know what this year could bring. Scary or exciting, joyful or somber, painful or relieving, we can have great faith in one thing: the steadfast love of the Lord will never leave us.

Last Sunday

Andy brought us the first of our two week series on Jude. He’ll bring us the next half this upcoming Sunday, so be sure to listen here to catch up if you missed it.

Upcoming this Week

  • New Connection Classes this Sunday! At 9:30am, men and women will split and discuss the Fear of Man. Fear of man is pervasive. It likely influences much of how you live. How can we see and change that? At 11:15am, Prayer will be offered. Understand better the purpose of praying and how to focus on the discipline of prayer.
  • Governance Proposal Q&A and Meeting. Discuss the Governance Proposals this Sunday, January 5th, at 3:00pm with the Elders in the West Wing, or drop by when an Elder will be in the West Wing to talk on Monday, January 6th from 6:00-8:00pm.
  • DM Launch Night. Join us in the auditorium one week from today at 6:30pm to learn more about Disciplemakers, our class that equips everyone to go a step further in their walk with the Lord in personal growth, evangelism, and discipleship.

May your New Year begin with renewed hope that Jesus will do more than all of his people could ever ask or imagine, and that each day he is fulfilling that in your life and the life of our church.

Your sister,

Gracie
