Brothers and Sisters,

Once again last Sunday we found ourselves as a church being pushed towards Christ as our only and sure hope of gaining wisdom.  This could never be more true then when we consider our words.  Our speech is only a reflection of what lives in our heart (Matt 12:34).  Christ must permeate every corner of our hearts if our speech is to help not harm.  The tongue is powerful (Pr 18:21) and through Christ we can unleash its power to build up one another (Pr 16:24).  Perhaps our greatest act this week is to turn towards God the Father asking him to watch over our months, God the Son to rid us of sin, and God the Spirit to empower our speech for good.

Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips!   Psalm 141:3

The Bridge

During Spring Break (March 7-9) Church on Mill College Students along with the Youth will be serving a new church plant – The Bridge Mesa (associated with Casa de Amor).  The team will be doing a service project in the morning hours and during the evening conduct an after-school program for kids.  Please be in prayer for them as they plan and prepare to passionately engage the lost community around The Bridge.

New Connection Classes

Church on Mill is very committed to the scriptures as the primary means to be transformed so if you have not already considered a Connection Class please take a few minutes and follow this link.  Would you prayerfully consider where you will spend the next few weeks growing alongside some other brothers and sisters at 9:30am on Sunday mornings?  New classes start this Sunday!

Has Science Buried God?  Dr. John Lennox

Mark you calendars for this significant event happening on February 25th at 7:30pm in the auditorium.  Also, share the event from the Facebook page to raise awareness and invite friends.  Perhaps combine dinner with your invite so you can begin the conversation even before arriving to the lecture.
