Brothers and Sisters,

We heard from Erik last Sunday about the ever-present temptation to hypocrisy in our lives and ministry as we seek to live “in step” with the gospel of Jesus Christ. If Peter, the apostle who knew Jesus most closely, and Barnabas, the man who discipled Paul, fell to hypocrisy, how should you and I proceed in our own lives? Check out Erik’s sermon for more.

Members Meeting

Plan to spend the evening of Sunday, October 20th with our church family. From 6:00-8:00pm, we’ll gather over dessert (bring one to share) and discuss proposed changes to the constitution and bylaws of Church on Mill. We treasure these times as a body to learn, celebrate, and pray together.

Membership Class

As we continue to grow as a body in faithfulness and love, we also have seen many come through our doors looking for biblical community. If you’ve been getting to know any of these visitors, be sure to let them know that an opportunity to learn more about the Church on Mill family is coming up on November 2nd in the West Wing from 9:00am-4:00pm.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me,” Galatians 2:20.

Your sister,

Gracie
