Dear Church Family,

1 Timothy 6:17-19

Would you consider yourself rich in this present age? Most Americans qualify as being rich in comparison with the rest of humanity. Last week Pastor Chuck took us through 1 Tim. 6:17-19 as we considered how we ought to act as people who have been given much. Paul commands that the rich are “to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share…” Would you consider yourself the kind of person who manages their money and their possessions in a generous way? You can check out the sermon here.

Members Meeting

Last Sunday was our first members meeting of 2019. We heard a moving testimony from Caroline about finances, and added two new members to our church, Zach Hsu and Valeria Gonzalez. We also opened a new segment called “Ask Anything” where members were free to bring any question to the elders. Overall, it was a great time to come together as see the ways God is moving in our church.

Youth Testimony – Tara Murphy

Tara Murphy gave a great testimony about youth camp. Even though she has known the basics of Christianity all her life, she is still learning more through the Word of God. It was an encouraging reminder that no matter how old or young we are, God continues to teach us new things. We should all take from her example and submit ourselves to God’s Word as it molds us and shapes us.

The Lord’s Supper

This Sunday, February 3rd, 2019, we will be partaking in the Lord’s supper. This will be a great time for members to be reminded of the work of Christ on the cross as we partake together. Please come prepared to worship the Lord with a pure heart.

Your Brother in Christ,

Brandon
