Tough Questions for Troubled Times
Abortion. Gossip. Rape. Lies. Homosexuality. Dishonoring parents. Terrorism. Greed. Does God not care? Why is he silent? Can’t he do something? Is it even useful to follow him? Perhaps God’s not just after all. Are we imagining a god that we have no evidence for?
Tough times beg tough questions. The book of Habakkuk tackles these tough questions head on and, surprisingly, God’s responses confound and trouble us before leading us to comfort and peace. In this series, we wrestle with the timeless questions everyone asks, yet so few seem to admit. By God’s grace may Habakkuk help us become a community that waits and responds to God’s good Word.
