Singleness and the Scriptures
November 25, 2018 @ 11:15 am - 12:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 11:15 am on Sunday, repeating until December 16, 2018
Are you a single who is Christian? Or are you a Christian who is single? Is there a difference between the two in how you view yourself? Being a single in today’s world – even perhaps more so in the church – can feel like a struggle. It’s easy to feel misunderstood, different and even defeated at times. It shouldn’t be that way especially given that both Jesus and the apostle Paul were single! In this class, we’ll apply the truth of Scripture to singleness. We’ll examine what Scripture says about our identity in Christ, how to relate well to other singles and to families both inside and outside the church, what Scripture says regarding ministering as a single person, how to deal with loneliness and how to find contentment.
