Dear Church Family,
Deuteronomy 8:11-20
Last Sunday we read a section in Deuteronomy 8, where God reminds his people not to forget Him when their needs are provided for. God is about to deliver the Israelite’s into the promise land, a “land flowing with milk and honey” where they will live in abundance. But this blessing comes with a warning… “Take care lest you forget the LORD your God… when you have eaten and are full and have built good houses and live in them…” Do you find yourself prone to wander from God when you have much? Many of us struggle with this today but this passage reminds us of the goodness of our God and how he provides for us graciously. Let us never forget the care our God has for us as we depend upon him. You can check out the sermon here.
Members Meeting
January 27th we will be having a members meeting at 6pm. This will be a great time to gather as a church family and celebrate what God is doing in our church. We will also have a new segment in the meeting called “Ask Anything”, which is a great chance to inquire about any questions you may have. I hope to see you there!
Your Brother in Christ,
Brandon
