Dear Church Family,
Last Sunday
Do you remember a time when you were overcome with sorrow to the point of despair? In John 16:16-24 we see Jesus preparing his disciples for the sorrow of his crucifixion. But just as joy comes to a woman after giving birth, Jesus foretells that their sorrow will turn to eternal joy. The cross was a temporary source of anguish that gave birth to never-ending joy. Because of the cross, a new relationship with the Father was made available. Because of the cross, we can now go directly to God the Father with our questions and cares. In the face of the sorrows we experience today, let us encourage one another, together, as a church to let our friendship with God turn our sorrows into joy. And let us remember that this joy will never be taken away from us. Praise God!
Members Meeting
Our next Members Meeting is March 25th, 6:00-8:00 pm. Think of this as family dinner – except there is only dessert! Join us for fellowship and to hear about God’s continued work here at COM.

On Mission
Reaching our world for Christ is central to the work of the church. This week, we have the privilege of hosting a missions group from Henderson Hills Baptist Church. They will be partnering with our collegiate and international ministries to evangelize on ASU’s campus and helping with projects around Church on Mill campus. Please welcome them to COM if you see them and pray for them as they work this week.
Your brother in Christ,
Andy
