Dear Church Family,
Last Sunday
Psalm 23 is a familiar passage to many of us, but one packed full of profound and comforting truth. Last Sunday, Nick Fryberger helped us to see that Psalm 23 is ultimately fulfilled in Christ, the good Shepherd. He has come to restore our souls and give us abundant life. He provides for our needs, protects us in the valleys, and pursues us when we stray. He is the Shepherd who lays down his life, that we might become sons and daughters of God. A sheep does not forge its own path. There is no such thing as an independent, self-made sheep. We have a good Shepherd who calls us to depend upon him and promises to perfectly care for our souls.
Summer Study and Scotland Stories
Two important things are happening this Wednesday (today!) from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the church auditorium. First, join us for our Ephesians summer study and learn skills to be a better student of the Bible. Then at 7:30 hear from the Scotland team as they report back on their recent mission trip. Come be equipped and encouraged!
Your brother in Christ,
Phil Hoshiwara
