What is the greatest threat to your walk with Jesus? And what’s the greatest threat to our shared life
as a church? Perhaps surprisingly, the threat is not the loss of Christian influence in the public
square, the explosive power of secular culture, or the rapid growth of hostility toward biblical
Christianity in the West. No, our greatest threat is the abandonment of the gospel of Jesus Christ –
the gospel of grace – through which sinners are made right with God.
