Our Call to Praise the Lord
The book of Psalms ends with the grand finale: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” In fact, the last five Psalms are a resounding call to “Praise the Lord.” Though every Gathering is praise, the Night of Praise is our equivalent to these last few Psalms.
This Year’s Focus
This year, we’ll meditate on the person of Jesus and respond in song and prayer. Specifically, we’ll be journeying through the Ligonier Statement on Christology. You can read it here! Pray through it, read it with another church member, or think about the different aspects of Christ the Statement points out. Both worship bands are combining forces, and our elders will pray and give short sermons.
After Party
Afterward, we’ll head to the lawn for the After Party, where we’ll celebrate the gift of church family. We’ll have two food trucks available for you to purchase dinner. Plus, we’ll provide bounce houses and dessert! Bring picnic blankets, chairs, and lawn games to enjoy with others. Last year, this was an absolute blast.
We can’t wait for this joyful night of fellowship.
