Sermon Recap
In the first of our sermon series by Dr. Greg Tonkinson, we considered our identity in Christ and all the blessings he gives us. Last Sunday, we considered two appropriate responses to God’s gracious gift of his Son and the blessings we have inherited through his sacrifice: 1) know him, and 2) show him. We know him through his word as we joyously, selflessly, and diligently meditate on the Scriptures. We show him through obedience to that word as we not only hear, but also do what God commands. How meaningful has your time in the word been this week? What is one command of God that needs to be applied to your life by the Spirit’s power?
6 Weeks
We are 6 weeks until our 2 Gatherings launch (August 6)! This is a significant transition for the family of Church on Mill—one with the potential to bring much gospel growth! As we wait for the 2 Gatherings launch, let’s not be inactive. Even now we can participate in this gospel growth by praying to our Father who is pleased to hear and answer. To help with this, a 40-day prayer guide will be available this Sunday with prayer suggestions for each day leading up to the launch. Be on the lookout for it!

Italy Trip
A team from Church on Mill will be leaving for Italy on a short-term mission trip from June 30th – July 10th. Pray that they would be fruitful assistance to Serenissima Bible Church in their efforts to reach their community and in planting new churches in nearby towns. May God richly bless their time there!
