Brothers and Sisters,

Last week, Chuck preached on Genesis 15. Listen in here. This week, we’ll study Genesis 16. Consider meeting up with someone to read the passage before Sunday.

Saved to Serve
Every May, each member makes a one-year commitment to serve on Sunday mornings. Paul teaches in Ephesians 2 that while we are not saved by works, we are saved for works. Good works among the body put the gospel on display!  If you have not already committed to serve in the 2024-25 serving year, please let us know which area of ministry you’d like to serve with!

Doctrine and Dessert

Our first Doctrine and Dessert is coming a week from today (Wednesday, June 5th from 6:30–8pm) in the Christian Challenge building! Pastor and Missionary Rob Krause will be here from Italy to teach on what the Bible says about angels. Afterward we’ll enjoy a sweet time of fellowship. Let’s pray this time deepens both our understanding of the Word and our love for one another.

“At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone,” Hebrews 2:8b–9. Jesus has tasted death on our behalf. Let us rejoice in the life we now have in him!

Your brother,

Kyle
