Psalm 16
Last week Phil Hoshiwara, one of our pastoral residents, took us through Psalm 16. This is a great psalm to follow the previous week’s Psalm 15. To use Phil’s words, If Psalm 15 is a road map telling how to be with Christ then Psalm 16 is really the expression of following that road map. We learned of the joy and life we receive when our lives are interconnected to Christ’s mission and purpose. Phil showed us some examples both in Abraham and Lot’s compromise, and also the life of David that help us to see the uniqueness and beauty in following after the Lord. Scotland Mission Trip Update
Our missions team has arrived safely at Niddrie Community Church and are underway in helping them reach the community through VBS! There are currently 70 children between the ages of 4-12 involved. The theme is Jesus and the gospel presentation has been clear. Please be in prayer for our team, the church, and especially the children and families that will have the gospel presented to them this week. We are eagerly awaiting the news upon their return!
