Dear Church Family,
Last Sunday
Last Sunday Pastor Chuck preached from John 11. Jesus, the life-giving Son of God, called Lazarus from the grave…and a dead man came back to life. We might wonder where such extraordinary miracles are taking place today—but don’t forget, Jesus is still in the business of giving life! Every good work that you do from faith in Jesus Christ is evidence that he has worked a life-giving miracle in your heart. You were dead in your sins, and God called you out of the grave! Praise Jesus, who gives life to dry bones! May we be a church full of the life of our Savior, proclaiming that life to a dead world.
Mission Trips Info Meeting
After the second service this Sunday (1/14), stick around for a 30 minute info meeting on two upcoming mission trips to Scotland and East Asia. If you have any interest in participating in a short-term missions trip, either by going, praying, or giving, join us at 12:45 pm in the West Wing of the auditorium to hear more.
Reading Plan Bookmarks
Our time in God’s word is the way God transforms our hearts. This Sunday, pick up a free bookmark that gives you the 3rd year of a 3-year Bible reading plan. If you’ve not yet started the plan, year one bookmarks will be available too!
Side by Side – Learning to Disciple College Students
We desire to be a church that disciples young people through the stuff of everyday, ordinary relationships. If you have a desire to invest in college students but don’t know how, come join us as we read through Ed Welch’s book Side by Side and learn to do that together. We will meet alternating Mondays at 6pm in the West Wing of the auditorium to discuss the assigned reading.
In Christ,
Phil
