Brothers and Sisters,

Last Sunday

After over half a year in 1 Samuel, we ended our series on this book of the Bible with a tragic conclusion. The man the entire nation of Isreal was depending on for deliverance laying lifeless on the ground. His sons slaughtered by the Philistines. Dishonor brought upon the very name of the Lord. How could this be the end? If you missed the sermon, listen to find how a future so dark can shine the light of Christ.

New Connection Classes

Connection Classes are a fantastic time to equip yourself for various issues and topics of concern in life alongside other church members. At 9:30am, come to explore the trinity further in the Trinity class. At 11:15am, join in to learn about Finding God in the Midst of Suffering. These classes begin on Sunday, so come early or stay after the gathering you attend to join in.

First Annual Missions Fair

We seek to be a church family that is passionately engaged in making disciples all across the world. To further spur us on in this, we host our first annual Missions Fair this September! Join us on the 15th of September from 6:00-7:30pm as we hear from short-term teams we sent this year, find out more about our partners, pray together, and learn more about future opportunities to support our partners.

Membership Statement of Faith

In an email sent by Pastor Chuck and during last week’s sermon, the Elders presented the final version of the Proposed Membership Statement of Faith. Check it out here if you haven’t yet, and mark your calendars to attend the Members Meeting on August 25th at 6:00pm for the vote.

Try finding time to read Psalm 34 as we prepare for our three-week series The Body to begin this Sunday!

“I will bless the Lord at all times,” (Psalm 34:1).

Your sister,

Gracie
