The New Year brings a fresh wave of new Connection Classes at Church on Mill.  These seven week classes take place at 9:30am on Sunday mornings beginning January 8, 2017.  Whether brand new to COM or a long-time member, join us a bring some friends.

Parenting, led by Chuck and Jill in the East wing. The task of raising our children in a world that rejects God’s authority can be daunting. We often feel we need to pave our own way because we aren’t aware of any other way. In this class we will allow the bible to guide us as we discern how to parent in a gospel-centered way. Whether you have kids at home, your kids are grown, or you just want to be a faithful church member involved in helping kids know Jesus, join this class.

How to Grow, led by Bryan Jerry in the Northwest Wing. God has tremendous power to bring change and growth to our lives. He promises that he will complete the work of transformation he began in each of us. Transformation is his work, yet our daily habits play a significant role in the process of spiritual growth. Join us as we practically explore methods we can use to know God more and experience his transforming grace in our lives.

Evangelism: Sharing the Gospel, led by Nick Fryberger and this one will be meeting in the Christian Challenge Building. Christ warned that despite a plentiful harvest, workers would be few. What does it mean to labor in God’s harvest? Scripture tells us that faith comes through hearing and we’ve been invited to speak the words that God may use as he brings faith to others! We’ll explore what “the gospel” is and how it can be presented to the people God has already placed in our lives that need desperately to hear it.
