Hey Church Family,

Psalm 15

Last week we wrestled with Psalm 15. Resident Phil Hoshiwara broke it down into four questions for us to consider. Can anyone draw near to the presence of God? What kind of person can draw near to the presence of God? How can we be the kind of person who can draw near to the presence of God? What benefit do we find in the presence of God? It was a great study and reminder of the righteousness imparted by Christ that allows us to dwell firmly in God’s family. You can check it out here.

Scotland Mission trip

One of Church on Mill’s strategic international mission partners is 20 Schemes, based in Scotland. The last several years, at least one team of church members have traveled to Scotland each year to assist and support what God is doing through the important work of 20 Schemes and Niddrie Community Church (NCC). This month, four members are going to help NCC put on a camp for neighborhood children. Pray for this team (July 3rd-July 14th) as they build relationships, share the gospel with children living in poverty, and encourage and learn from the members of NCC. Thank you for supporting 20 Schemes by your weekly budget giving, helping send members on short term trips, and praying for the ministry.

New Connection Classes

Connection Classes are our weekly, Sunday morning elective classes for adults to meet each other and learn from God’s Word about specific issues. Two new Connection Classes start this Sunday!

At 9:30am, in the Christian Challenge building, Phil Hoshiwara will be teaching “Who am I”. In a world that tells us to define ourselves however we feel, this course helps us understand our true identity in Christ and all of the parts that make up that identity.

At 11:15am, in the Christian Challenge building, Kent Hardy will be teaching “Counterfeit God’s”. This course is designed to help us to identify our own idols, and teach us how to replace them with the only One who gives true fulfillment – the living God.

Your Brother in Christ,

Brandon Reimus
