This January and February, our church family is spending Sundays together in God’s Word talking about how God asks us to use the money he entrusts us with throughout our lives. Sundays will help us think well on the subject, but they aren’t generally a time to put an exact plan in action. To help put feet to the convictions we learn, each Monday following the sermon a money-wise member will write about a practical tool that goes along with what Chuck preached on. Do you hope to let the next six weeks have as much of an impact on your life as possible? Consider doing the following:
Saturdays: Read the passage for Sunday and pray that God would give you an open heart and diligent spirit.
Sundays: Come to church and listen to the sermon.
Mondays: Read the blog post in the evening and act upon the practical focus.
Tuesdays-Fridays: Share with another church member what God is teaching you about money and possessions, and invite on-going conversation on the matter.
Below, there is a table (or check out the table as a pdf here) with the Scriptures, sermon dates, and tools to be used throughout the six weeks. Each week, we will add links to the table so that the sermon recording and new practical tool are easily accessible. May God use this time to make each of us more like Christ as we seek to do his will with money!
