Brothers and Sisters,

Last Sunday

Darrell Young, the Director of International Workshops for the Charles Simeon Trust, joined us on Sunday to talk about the mission of the Charles Simeon Trust and preach for us from John. The Charles Simeon Trust is equipping pastors worldwide to preach the Bible with increased accuracy and conviction. Church on Mill is grateful for Darrell’s work for God’s kingdom. Listen to his sermon on skepticism and confusion in John 7:1-13 here.

Todd’s Testimony

This past Sunday, the final of our three elder candidates shared his testimony with the church. Read Todd’s testimony here. You can also read the letter from the Transition Team about the process of moving toward eldership, our bylawsthe qualifications of elders, and the ministry of elders as you pray, stay informed, pursue, disclose, and affirm.

Welcome Aboard, Shing

As a church, we are so excited to welcome Shing, Kristina, and Elias Chow into Tempe as Shing begins his new position on the church staff as a Campus Missionary to Internationals! For now, most of his time on staff will be dedicated to raising support and getting to know the team and our church family. The Chows are new members of Church on Mill, so be sure to say hi and get to know them.

Thanksgiving Picnic

Thank you for coming out to the Thankgiving Picnic at Daley Park this weekend to enjoy a time of food and fellowship! Guests, members, friends, and community residents spent time eating, playing football, getting their faces painted, and getting to know one another. During the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, be intentional about thanking God for being the perfect father. He has adopted us into his family and gives us exactly what we need at all times! Take time to thank him for the staggering gift of salvation.

In Christ,

Gracie
